If you’re a Snapchat user, there’s a good chance you’ve been using the app to save videos. But what if you don’t have any friends on the app? What if you don’t want to share your videos with anyone? Well, there are a few ways to save your videos on Snapchat without any friends. Here are three ways:
- Save your videos as an image: Just open up Snapchat and tap on the three lines in the top left corner. Then select “Save as Image.” You can name it whatever you want, but make sure it’s something unique and memorable.
- Save your videos as a GIF: Just open up Snapchat and tap on the three lines in the top left corner. Then select “Save as GIF.” You can name it whatever you want, but make sure it’s something unique and memorable.
- Save your videos as a video: Just open up Snapchat and tap on the three lines in the top left corner. Then select “Save as Video.” You can name it whatever you want, but make sure it’s something unique and memorable.
Keep in mind that Snapchat does not allow you to download other users’ videos. You can only save your own videos from Snapchat to your phone’s video gallery. You can do this before and even after posting your video on the app.

After filming and editing your video with Snapchat, you can save the video to your phone’s gallery even before posting it on the app. Here’s how.
Save a Video on iPhone
To save a Snapchat video on your iPhone, launch the Snapchat app and start making your video. Once the video is recorded, feel free to use the editing tools to the right of your screen to edit your video.
